Even the Alpaca Knew When It Was Time For His Essences!!!!!!!!!!

Here is a great story about one stubborn male alpaca on our farm.

General Cotton is our main herd sire and he is one beautiful animal. However, he really loves to fight with the other boys so of course he is in a pasture by himself. We have a beautiful rose gray (color of his fiber) Abe in the pasture next to him and General Cotton just loves to aggravate him by jumping at the fence.

ABE #1

The children had noticed the battering back and forth of the two alpacas and called me. I began to give each of them the Alpaca Essence and Animal Rescue Essence for two days. Therefore, I thought things were beginning to quiet down and then the big fight happened.

One day as my children watched the two herd sires, enough was enough and Abe jumped the fence and went after General Cotton. Now in the wild the goal of the male alpaca is to bite the testicles of the other boy (That made me hurt just typing that info). So lo and behold General Cotton got one of this testicles cut a small bit. Because the boys fighting teeth are cut to domesticate them so they don’t hurt each other, this bite was done by a ragged tooth that had been cut.

When my son called and said General Cotton was bleeding, here I was in a two-piece suit about to leave the office to go speak on essences at a community event. I put on my boots, stood out in the pasture, and yelled at General Cotton to get his butt in the barn. He went straight to the barn. I closed the gate, walked over to him, lifted his tale and fixed his wound. Then I reached around to give him a dose of his essences and I could not believe it but he just opened his mouth as if to say, I know it is time for my essences.

Here are my two boys, much more peaceful now and hoping I will leave the females in the pasture with them.

Tree Essences For Cats And Squirrels

Dedicated to Peewee, a beloved cat

When Peewee at the age of 17 lost his lifelong companion a few years ago, we gave him lots of TLC, and for extra emotional and energetic support we added ‘vibrational’ essences we had made from trees found in North American forests and parklands.

Not long after, Peewee was again fully in his stride, but then Gulabo, Jason and I, came to a new decision. We thought a few young kittens might provide Peewee companionship in his remaining years, perhaps even keep him young in spirit. One-day Gulabo brought home two fluffy little Tammies “as cute as buttons.”

Peewee was a truly noble, gentle and even wise cat, even so he was put out by these newcomers. He’d hiss his disapproval and leave the room, especially when either Champagne or Mitten attempted to jump on his tail. We gave him another mixture of tree essences, designed to assuage feelings of jealousy and irritation, and each day we could see him become more accepting of their presence. Some older animals never really adjust to other animals joining the family, but within a week Peewee began to take care of his new sisters. Cats R4, F4 - 1

What are these vibrational tree essences that seem to have an affinity for animals? Not to be confused with highly concentrated and perfumed extracts from plants known as essential oils, tree essences are subtle dilutions, like homeopathic preparations, safe for people of all ages and animals to consume orally. Their purpose is to foster emotional and spiritual well-being and enhance mind/body health. That animals respond particularly well to essences made from trees is perhaps a reflection of the millions of years in which the lives of trees and animals have been deeply interwoven. Trees provide food and shelter for animals, while animals help trees to propagate. An acorn left buried by a squirrel may one day grow into a beautiful tree.

The development of vibrational essences owes much to the pioneering work begun in the 1920’s by the English physician Edward Bach. The essences he created, known as Bach Flower Remedies, are still highly valued. We began experimenting with tree essences more than 20 years ago. Our decision to focus on trees as the source of our essences grew naturally with our sense of their beauty, majesty and power.

Potential use of trees essences with animals is far ranging.

They may, for example, act gently yet effectively to lessen stress and sooth an animal’s nerves in cases of trauma. But equally they may help resolve key emotional issues, restore the spirit of animals that have been abandoned, abused or neglected, or bring serenity and palliative support for animals that are fragile or entering the phase of death and dying. Sometimes their action is of a more general nature.

One summer afternoon the sweetest looking little gray squirrel began following me across our yard in Western Quebec.

Squirrel Founder 2

I was so completely startled that I initially tried to run from her, but soon realizing she was only a tiny baby I picked her up. Gulabo and I contacted the Ottawa Carlton Wildlife Center, a wonderful organization dedicated to helping wildlife in our area. They have developed programs to care for baby animals that have lost their mothers and to return them to their natural milieu. After a few days in the center’s care, we left not with one squirrel but with three: Founder because she found us, Sneeze because she always sneezed at feeding and Shy who always tried to hide under the blankets of the cage. We fed them a special formula via syringe, cleaned them and of course gave them tree essences.

It is said that animals are our teachers. More then just enjoying them, we felt something of an of “aha,” a mixture of insight and wonder as we experienced each squirrel as a unique individual, just in the way we have come to see each tree as a unique individual.

Squirrel S3

The story came to an end after 6 weeks when we successfully released them. By that time, they were revved up with energy and they darted off when we opened their enclosure’s door by the trunk of a lovely and mature Black Maple. We have spotted them a number of times since, but after a few winters, we wonder where they are and how they have faired.

One proviso is in order when speaking of the use of vibrational tree essences. They are not meant to treat any specific disease or disorder. That is best left to the capable hands of a vet or other caregiver. One of the beauties of tree essences is that they can be used to support the well being of animals we love without concern for adverse effects.  Their use is simple, yet as vets are beginning to discover, tree and other essences can be a valuable adjunct to their practice.

Trees to the Rescue!

“Celine”, said my friend Jocelyn over cell phone in a very upset voice. “My dog just got hit by a car and he’s not moving. He has spasms and some blood is coming from his mouth. Someone found him lying on the road in front of the house.”

Twister

I instructed him to get the bottle of Animal Rescue Essence which he had on hand and apply a few drops on Twister’s head every 5 minutes.

As we continued conversing on the phone, going into more details about what happened, and how he had forgotten to put Twister’s collar on that morning and other ‘I should of‘ thoughts that were arising, I instructed Jocelyn to take a few drops of our Animal Rescue Essence for himself in order to calm himself down.

After a while Jocelyn exclaimed, “Oh my God, he has moved his head and looked up at me. I cannot believe it because I called the vet and I thought even that we would have to do the inevitable. I cannot believe it…”

Jocelyn had seen that that Twister had suffered a deep shock and he had been frightened that Twister might not make it. Twister moving his head was a sign that he might be alright after all.

As he was waiting for the vet I told my friend to stand by his dog and keep using the essence on his head. A little later on when the vet arrived at Jocelyn’s home, he found Twister back on his feet, wagging his tail and slowly moving around. Both Jocelyn and his Vet were amazed as only a short time ago they had feared the worse.

After examining Twister, the vet told Jocelyn that he probably had a few broken ribs, was shaken by the car hit, but that he would be just fine.

Twister is 10 years old, and along with his father, Tigars (12 years old), reside with Jocelyn.

Jocelyn and his dogs

He was very lucky that day because it seems like he rolled under the car without too much damage. It could have been fatal. Both Jocelyn and the vet were astonished at how the drops of Animal Rescue Essence supported Twister to get through the initial shock of such an experience. It helped him relax and regain his strength within a very short time span.

In the last 10 years, Our Animal Rescue Essence has been of great support for thousands of animals whether for shock, the disruptions and stress of travel, fears or to help alter certain behaviors that we would like to discourage, etc. Animal Rescue has been awarded Animal Wellness Magazine seal of Approval.

Thanks to Animal Rescue for saving my little friend!

Hi, my name is Jocelyn. I am the owner of a business that provides electronic pet containment systems (Invisible Fence). It consists of a wire that you install around your property, and the pet wears a receiver that picks up a radio signal transmitted through the wire and gives an audible warning signal and than a small static correction. It keeps your pet on your property without having to tie them down.

Jocelyn and his dogs 2

The other day I let my two dogs out to do their business, I forgot to put their fencing collars on, as I result one of them got away and got hit by a car in front of my home.

A person walking by alerted me that my dog had been hit by a car and could barely walk, so I rushed to carry him back inside my home. It was during a holiday, but I called a friend who is a vet to ask him if he could come and put my dog to sleep, my dog was in convulsions, gasping for air, bleeding from the mouth, not moving. I was sure that he did not have long to live but I did not want him to suffer, so the only option was to put him down.

I then called my friend Céline

Jocelyn and Gulabo

who happens to be the co-owner of Canadian Forest Tree Essences, she recommended that I give Twister their Animal Rescue Essence immediately and frequently. After I had administered the essence, the vet showed up at my door to see Twister and he could not believe his eyes for after using the essences for a short time, Twister was already back on his feet again.

The vet and I could not believe the fast recovery after using the Animal Rescue Essences. Thanks to Animal Rescue for saving my little friend.
